We’ve had a brilliant night at the ceilidh and were joined by Estonians, Germans, Portuguese, Swedes and even an Italian. In addition to all the traditional dances we managed to squeeze in a Swedish Masquerade, a Grongo and even some Portuguese bagpipes, an Estonian folk dance and a brilliant Highland dance from Alice.
That’s it from EuroscolaOnline – we’ve had a brilliant few days and the students have been absolutely fantastic and a credit to their families, schools, local authorities and to their Rotary Clubs. We’re all looking forward to getting back home tomorrow, but I’m sure everyone will keep in touch via Facebook! It’s a bit late now so we’ll say bonne nuit et merci à tous et à toutes!

From Ruth Wood:
Hi everyone
just to say what a fantasic time I had at Euroscola. From a teacher’s point of view it was one of the best trips I have done & I only wish it could have lasted longer! The best part was meeting so many great people- the students were a credit to themselves, families & schools – friendly, polite and always willing to take part in the activities. It was a pleasure to meet Gerry,Tommy,Mark & Phyllis and I hope we meet again.I think the Scottish students have the best time on Euroscola due to the hard work of Gerry,Tommy & Mark who all had a great rapport with everyone – our group & the groups from the other countries- every day was fun & exciting – right up until we were told “the true stories” on the plane.
Thanks to everyone for making the trip such a success. Can’t wait to go back to school to tell everyone – our school is closed today – obviously to let Lisa & me have a long lie!
All the best to everyone
Ruth xx
